Job Purpose


The Assistant Vice President - Product Marketing sets the strategic direction and ensures the successful delivery of product launches and customer monetization campaigns. This role is pivotal to increasing the awareness and adoption of Mashreq’s product suite and, ultimately, business growth. The role is remote, working closely with the Global Headquarters in Dubai, UAE and will lead the product marketing function for corporate banking, managing a team, budget and reporting to the SVP Marketing.

  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling product positioning, messaging, and branding for the Corporate Banking product suite.

Become the marketing expert for the product suite, supporting Product and Sales teams in defining market trends, competition, and differentiation.


Key Result Areas

Responsibilities:

  • Design deliver, in partnership with Product and Sales, the go-to-market plans for a range of existing and new solutions in corporate banking.
  • Design And lead the execution of product campaigns on social media to raise awareness, attract new customers, and drive thought leadership.
  • Design and deliver marketing campaigns to monetise and nurture a middle-market customer portfolio.
  • Collaborate with data analytics, product management and sales, the launch of new products and solutions.
  • With the product team in refining a client-led value proposition that reinforces the tangible benefits of Mashreq’s products and solutions.

  • With the data analytics team to define target segment groups and monitor campaign performance.
  • Provide client and market insight to establish a clear competitive lens, trends, market needs, messaging and well-defined client personas.
  • Establish with the wider marketing teams product assets, sales enablement tools, pitch decks, whitepapers, blogs, case studies, social media, website content for Corporate banking.

Support the product and CX team in delivering customers a consistent and valuable Mashreq experience.



Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong track record in B2B marketing and experience in setting strategic direction and ensuring delivery
  • Must Have experience in MSME, large corporate Product Marketing, mid or small corporate developing marketing campaign, implement and track campaign.
  • 12 plus years of experience in Marketing and minimum 6 plus years experience in B2B product marketing, with only banking industry.
  • Track record in designing marketing campaigns for client portfolio development and monetization.
  • Ability to analyze and process data into actionable insights for campaign strategy and delivery – notably for portfolio monetization.
  • Strong ability to gather input and drive execution from various cross-functional teams and in complex environments.
  • Eye for design and detail, and experience in delivering effective campaign creatives on all platforms.
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to craft impactful campaign messaging.
  • Proactive Flexible and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer advocate, an excellent communicator (writing and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
