Role: Java Architect

Location: Pune Kharadi - Hybrid

Job Overview: As a Java Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing the architecture of complex software systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies, design robust and scalable solutions, and ensure that the systems are aligned with business goals and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design: Lead the design of complex Java-based systems, including defining architectural patterns, design principles, and technology stacks.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines, best practices, and coding standards.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable and high-performance solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement strategies to optimize system performance and scalability.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development efficiency and system capabilities.
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to architectural standards, and implementation of best practices.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including design diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues that could impact project timelines or system stability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java technologies, including 3+ years in an architecture or lead role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Java and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, Java EE, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and integration patterns.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, with a strong focus on collaboration and team development.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of database design and optimization (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Certifications related to Java or cloud technologies.
