ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards: Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights to various business functions.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business users, data analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualization solutions.


  • Data Integration and Transformation: Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SQL or other tools to prepare data for visualization.


  • Performance tuning: Ensure Tableau dashboards and reports are optimized for performance, including reviewing and improving query performance and load times.


  • Testing and validation: Validate the accuracy of data, dashboards, and reports by comparing results to original sources and business logic.


  • User Training and Support: Provide end-user training and documentation for Tableau dashboards, assisting users in understanding data and using reports effectively.


  • Data governance and best practices: Ensure adherence to best practices in data visualization, security, and data governance.


  • Report automation: Automate routine reporting processes to streamline data delivery and provide timely insights to business users.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 YEARS


EDUCATION: Graduation degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field (or equivalent experience).


REQUIRED SKILLS


  • 4+ years of experience in Tableau: Strong hands-on experience developing interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau.


  • Proficiency in SQL: Strong SQL skills for querying and preparing data from various sources.


  • Data modeling: Experience in creating data models and integrating multiple data sources
  • into Tableau.


  • Analytical mindset: Ability to understand complex data sets, identify patterns, and translate them into meaningful insights.


  • Problem-solving skills: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve data and performance issues.


  • Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.


  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality in the development of reports and dashboards.


  • Familiarity with data warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and working with large datasets is a plus.


DESIRED SKILLS


  • Experience with Tableau Server: Knowledge of Tableau Server configuration, administration, and performance optimization.


  • Experience with scripting languages: Familiarity with Python, R, or similar languages for advanced data manipulation is a plus.


  • Certifications: Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional.


  • Experience with other BI tools: Experience with Power BI, QlikView, or other Bl tools is advantageous.
