We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau and Alteryx Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain data visualization dashboards and data workflows to empower business decision-making. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design interactive Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize Alteryx workflows to process, cleanse, and transform data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize Tableau extracts and Alteryx workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate Tableau with different data sources such as SQL databases, APIs, and flat files.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and resolve data or visualization-related issues.
  • Provide recommendations for data visualization best practices to improve report usability and user experience.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and dashboards for future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of Tableau, Alteryx, and related technologies.


Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in developing Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Strong expertise in creating Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending, and transformation.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
  • Ability to connect Tableau and Alteryx to various data sources and manage data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud for publishing and managing dashboards.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Data Analyst).
  • Certification in Alteryx (e.g., Alteryx Designer Core/Advanced).
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics trends.
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
