Position: Process Dry End Shift In-charge for PM#3

Location: Kashipur, Uttarakhand

Job Role: To ensure the smooth operation of the production process and the delivery of high-quality products.


Qualifications: Engineering Graduate or Diploma in Pulp & Paper or Chemical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience working on paper or paper board machines with online coating facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Oversee the production process to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Monitor and control the production parameters to achieve the desired quality and quantity of the end product.
  • Ensure that production targets are met within the specified time frame.

Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain high standards of quality for the end product.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the shift team independently.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their performance.

Troubleshooting:

  • Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the production process.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and maintain continuous production flow.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance and issues.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other support teams to ensure smooth operations.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the paper-making process, from raw material input to final product output.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in paper-making technology and processes.
  • Apply technical knowledge to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.
  • Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively.
