                                    Title- VP- Fund Raising


Summary: Experience of 15+ years in Real Estate Fund / Private equity / Venture capital in India with a demonstrated track record in fund-raising and investor relations for an AIF (Alternate Investment Fund) in the Real Estate sector would be preferred


Responsibilities
  1. Fundraising and Client Prospecting
  • Identify and build a robust pipeline of potential clients and institutional investors, including:
  • Insurance Companies, Mutual Funds, Fund of Funds
  • Institutional Placement Firms, Wealth Managers, IFAs, Family Offices, UHNIs, HNIs
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including direct canvassing and meetings.
  • Represent Arbour Investments at industry events, family office conclaves, and conferences to build relationships and enhance visibility.
  1. Investor Relations (IR) Management
  • Formulate and maintain a professional Investor Relations (IR) plan.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
  • Develop key deliverables, including annual reports, monthly/quarterly reviews, board meeting presentations, and strategic updates.
  1. Business Strategy Development
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to shape and execute a go-to-market strategy aligned with Arbour’s objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, particularly within the real estate sector.
  • Oversee the preparation of information memorandums, financial analyses, and market intelligence reports.
  1. Team Leadership and Goal Setting
  • Lead the fundraising team, set quarterly targets, and monitor progress against goals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring high performance.
  • Present the team’s progress and key achievements to the board and management.
  1. Marketing and Communication
  • Develop high-quality marketing materials, including presentations, proposals, and Expressions of Interest (EOI) documents.
  • Ensure clarity, transparency, and accuracy in communicating Arbour’s product offerings.
  • Organize and execute industry events, networking sessions, and investor roadshows to showcase Arbour’s capabilities.
  1. Operational Excellence
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Support the management in business development through leveraging existing networks and relationships.
  • Engage in regulatory processes and the structuring of funds, collaborating with advisors as needed.
Basic Requirements

Education:

  • Post-Graduate degree in Finance (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in capital raising (Debt/Equity) within institutional, family office, or wealth management sectors.
  • Pre-existing network within the real estate sector for capital raising.
  • Experience in fund setup and navigating regulatory processes is a strong advantage.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills; expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to manage end-to-end processes.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs on tight deadlines.
