Role : Head Sales - Clearing, Derivatives, FX
Location : Mumbai
Roles & Responsibility :
• Lead business development and sales initiatives for clearing and settlement services pertaining to domestic funds (AIFs and mutual funds) that trade in India.
• Create and implement plans to get fresh algo funding for the clearing company.
• Holding client meetings, giving presentations, and showing prospective customers the products.
• Establish and preserve solid bonds with important parties, such as brokers, custodians, CPAs, and attorneys.
• To guarantee that important clients receive the most service possible, provide them with continuing support and account management.
• Keep an eye on the competitive environment, industry trends, and legislative modifications that have an impact on clearing and settlement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that showcase the company's value proposition and clearing capabilities.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote clearing and settlement services.
• Gain a thorough grasp of the clearing and settlement infrastructure of the company, its advantages for domestic funds (AIFs and mutual funds), and how it may be used to leverage it to satisfy institutional clients' demands.
• Clearly communicate the company's offers, highlighting how its technology, risk management, and clearing services set it apart from rivals.
• Establish and meet revenue and sales targets for the clearing company.
• Monitor performance, report on sales developments, and give senior management regular updates.
• Assist internal teams in making sure new clients are onboarded and implemented smoothly.
