Weare looking to hire a data analyst to join our data team. You willtake responsibility for managing our master data set developingreports and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this roleyou need a very fine eye for detail experience as a data analystand a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools anddatabases.

DataAnalystResponsibilities:
  • Managingmaster data including creation updates anddeletion.

  • Managingusers and userroles.

  • Providequality assurance of imported data working with quality assuranceanalysts ifnecessary.

  • Commissioningand decommissioning of datasets.

  • Processingconfidential data and information according toguidelines.

  • Helpingdevelop reports andanalysis.

  • Managingand designing the reporting environment including data sourcessecurity andmetadata.

  • Supportingthe data warehouse in identifying and revising reportingrequirements.

  • Supportinginitiatives for data integrity andnormalization.

  • Assessingtests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting withstrategic decisions on newsystems.

  • Generatingreports from single or multiplesystems.

  • Troubleshootingthe reporting database environment andreports.

  • Evaluatingchanges and updates to source productionsystems.

  • Trainingendusers on new reports anddashboards.

  • Providingtechnical expertise in data storage structures data mining and datacleansing.


DataAnalystRequirements:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in computerscience.

  • Workexperience as a data analyst or in a relatedfield.

  • Abilityto work with stakeholders to assess potentialrisks.

  • Abilityto analyze existing tools and databases and provide softwaresolutionrecommendations.

  • Abilityto translate business requirements into nontechnical layterms.

  • Highlevelexperience in methodologies and processes for managing largescaledatabases.

  • Demonstratedexperience in handling large data sets and relationaldatabases.

  • Understandingof addressing and metadatastandards.

  • Highlevelwritten and verbal communicationskills.
