Location: Gummidipoondi, Chennai


Roles & Responsibility:


1. Knowledge of Air conditioner product & its Manufacturing processes.

2. Knowledge of Quality processes and testing

3. Manage Quality control activities for Incoming, Inprocess and finish products

4. Prepare/ Modify - Part & product Inspection standards

5. Ensuring the compliance of all the functions as per applicable IS standard and Management system requirements

6. Quality system & Process audits

7. BIS & other regulatory compliance

8. Lead the shop floor quality team and provide technical and other support to team

9. Effective implementation of statistical techniques in all sections of QA.

10. Implementation of best practice quality system, processes and procedure to aid and improve operational performance.

11. Monitoring of all the QA activities, inspection results, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvements. Implement steps required to improve processes.

12. Interact with other departments for Part / processes/ design related concerns and support for improvement

13. Review with team members over ongoing issues and trends.

14. Work on product quality improvements through preventive and corrective actions.

15. Analysis of customer complaints and field return, and monitoring the effectiveness of action taken.

16. Performance Validation of MP
