Finalizing the detailed specifications forthe material and recommending the quality standards for thematerials to be procured on site by providing complete technicalassistance to the procurement team as per the IS codes and itsdeviations.
Finalizing the quality specifications ofmaterials well in advance before the procurement orders.
Knowledge of testing various materials as per the valid IS codesand calibration of various equipments used for testing ofmaterials.
Need to Keep a regular check on the system ofstorage of materials on site its shelf life and the workabilitiesof material after procurement and before execution as well as afterexecution and maintain a complete check list of the same for futurerecords.
Preparing and maintaining all types of recordsof quality checklists pour cards etc. on timely basis for having aproper quality control over the site as per the available ISCodes Reporting the hurdles in procurementsand execution from quality perspective and provide solution to theteam.
Recommending the cost control measures and costsaving with control over wastage including strict qualitymeasures Maintaining all necessary recordfor quality checks of the materials and works and shall raise flagsfor avoiding incurable situations.
Inspecting the worksin execution and shall witness the tests carried out whileexecution is in progress.
Need to Keep a strict check onthe working methodology as agreed by the contractor should keep astrict vigil on the workforce available onsite.
