JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Customer Quality Support Specialist I
Location: India

The Customer Quality Support Specialist (CQS) is responsible to support Mouser’s Quality processes for Corrective Actions, requests for Manufacturer Certificate of Conformance, PPAP/IMDS requests and reporting of Customer Scorecards. The CQS should understand the customer and vendor business processes to ensure accurate delivery of request. They will also support requests relating to quality requirements and requests for the customer and effectively communicate the information to the customer.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensure customers receive appropriate and timely responses to their quality requests. Enable customer requests for part traceability to be completed through identifying documents. Support database population to Customer Requests for Manufacturer Certificate of Conformance and PPAP/IMDS requests. Provide support to Customer Quality Manager’s responsibilities, including processes such as Corrective Action, Failure Analysis and Customer Scorecards. Identify improvement opportunities for customer quality processes. Expected to utilize organizational skills to document, categorize, prioritize, provide easy access to information, ask questions, follow up, and maintain communications. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external contacts.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

Strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the company. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook) and internet. Able to use, read and interpret spreadsheets, printed reports, and terminal screen.

REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s degree in any field.
