Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations of the vehicle fleet
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation
- Coordinate with internal departments to schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Monitor maintenance costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective cost control measures
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in fleet maintenance
- Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts related to fleet maintenance
- Act as a liaison between the maintenance department and other departments within the company
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fleet Maintenance Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
- Experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to fleet maintenance
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies
- Proficiency in fleet management software and systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology) is preferred
