Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Marketing Process & Financial Operations

The Sr. Manager of Marketing process & financial Operations overseas our marketing budget to ensure the best ROI, as well as effectively managing our accounting processes. Ideal candidates for this role have relevant experience with budget management, are skilled communicators, and are an out-of-the box thinker constantly looking to improve key processes around the finance and vendor management activities.

Responsibilities

·Provides financial leadership, management and reporting across planning, budgeting, forecasting, tracking and payments

·Builds and manages the annual marketing budget and key funding decisions, alongside the planning lead, that will help us to deliver the marketing KPIs and gain the best ROI for the spend

·Liaisons between marketing leadership, FP&A, and the Marketing teams to drive investment & expense alignment. Excellent communication is key.

·Performs analysis and reporting of investment to help business partners gain key insights into spend and propose reinvestment scenarios

·Helps define and implement scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals and reporting

·Drives process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance or change financial tools

·Works with the marketing teams to identify corrective actions or opportunities for improvement

·Coordinates with the responsible teams to ensure all the processes are performed in line with the defined procedures for PO/POR/Expense approval administration

·Coordinates elements of the marketing vendor lifecycle, alongside the sourcing team, via payments and financial elements of renewals

·Collaborates with the Accounting team to ensure accruals are posted as required

·Supports the Analytics team, as well as the Marketing team, by evaluating the outcome of the recommended investments through analyzing ROI

·Manages processes around marketing finance and vendor partners to ensure the Marketing team is fully utilizing and tracking accurate budget figures

·Manages a direct report focusing on PO & PR creation and payment follow-through

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

·Relevant years of financial analysis experience

·Bachelor’s degree

·Experience partnering with and influencing functional leaders

·Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning

·An innovative attitude with the reputation for being a quick learner and self-starter

·Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, geographically diverse, and rapidly changing environment.

·Customer service oriented with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

·Proved experience supporting a B2B marketing organization

·Ability to work and problem solve independently, organize workload and priorities, and complete tasks on time
