Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records of the organization, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, and maintaining proper documentation for audits and compliance. The role involves interacting with clients, vendors, and banks while handling all key accounting responsibilities, including GST filing and account finalization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of vouchers, invoices, payments, and transactions.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, and follow up on pending payments.
  • Manage all banking activities, including NEFT, RTGS, cheque payments, and other payment modes.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors through phone calls or emails regarding payment and account-related queries.
  • Handle the preparation and filing of GST returns, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
  • Assist in the finalization of accounts and support audit processes.
  • Manage the company’s fixed asset ledger and ensure proper accounting for fixed assets.
  • Handle other financial activities and tasks as assigned by management.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Articleship completion from a recognized Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations, especially GST compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and financial institutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Candidates who have completed articleship in a CA firm are preferred.
  • Proficient in handling GST filings and TDS.
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliation and audit processes.
  • Proficiency in payment processing methods including NEFT, RTGS, and cheques.


Requirements
Key Responsibilities: Compliance: Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations. Tax Handling: Manage GST filings (GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B), TDS filings, and Income Tax filings (ITR 1 to ITR 7). Financial Reporting: Compile, analyze, and report financial data. Create periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Audit Operations: Perform audits, identify and resolve discrepancies. Tax Calculations: Compute taxes owed, ensure timely payment. Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
