Overview:

The successful candidate will be an integral team member of Collins India Operations Supplychain function partnering with Enterprise Contracts on supply chain contract matters of both Product & Non-Product verticals. The Candidate will manage a complex portfolio of supplier contracts, communicates with supply chain leadership, to develop, implement, and achieve short- and long-term business objectives

Job Title:

Senior Manager - Contracts

Job responsibilities:

Drafts, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents, in accordance with Collins / RTX Standard Work and requests, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives.

Reviews contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, as well as assessing the risk and impact. Analyzes contracts to ensure compliance to company policies, government and commercial specifications and other requirements.

Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, including government procurement and cost control guidelines.

Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms and conditions.

Briefs team leader and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations.

Track and report Contract penetration health metrics to improve effectiveness.

Represents the Collins India Supplychain organization on legal issues concerning contract matters.

Provides legal advice on contractual matters and contract administration.

Maintains historical legal records.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years OR Advanced Degree and 10 years of relevant experience

12+ years of progressive experience in domain of Legal, Contract Mgmt. and International Business

Experience of negotiating and implementing Contract Agreements

Strong record of problem solving with an ability to drive performance through others.

Preferred qualification: Global Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree in India ( LLB or MBA in Contract Management)

Travel Requirements: 5-10%
