A brief aboutus:
Involve was founded by IITGraduates Divanshu & Samyak who left theirplacements to build their dream. Through Involve we are reimaginingeducation by building agency in school students targeting 1 millionstudents in the next five years. We do that by leveraging a peerlearningteachingbased approach. The approach emanates from ourbelief in Kids first and our key design principles: Cocreated withstudents Led by the students & participation by choice.

So far we have directly workedwith 22000 students across India improving theirlearning outcomes (39% from the baseline to Endline maths) and thesense of ownership & leadership with our programs. Our coreprogram of Peer Teaching has students in their formative years ofage of 1216 teacher and mentor their juniors in public schools. Wehave also seen great improvement in the learning culture of theschool teenage behavior etc.

We are backed bysome prominent institutions like the Central Square FoundationNudge Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship Wells Fargo and TFIxto name a few.

Overview of theProgram:

Maargadarshi isan innovation program running in Anekal. Our initiative revolvesaround two keypillars:

  1. PeerTeaching Program: Currently active in approximately30 schools this program empowers senior students to teach theirjunior counterparts fostering a unique learning dynamic. As we lookto the future we aim to delve deeper into the impact of thisintervention and gather evidence for its longtermbenefits.

  2. Innovationprograms: We are pioneering initiatives to createspaces within the education system for student voices to be heard.This involves testing pilot programs to enhance the overalleducationalexperience.

Roles&Responsibilities:

ProgramDesign

  • Createa Logic Model Framework outcomes chain for the projects we rununder the MaargadarshiProgram

  • Use current trendsin the education sector and use them to inform programdesign

  • Design M&Eframework for the programs

Contentdesign:

  • Designsession plans and training resources for the students enrolled inour differentprograms.

  • Collect andanalyse feedback from the ground to make our interventions moreeffective.

Monitoringevaluation andreporting:

  • Designrelevant M&E tools to collect qualitative and quantitative datafrom the ground.

  • Analysemonitoring data and use it to inform decisions based onprogram

  • Create resources todisperse learning from the program to internal team members andexternalstakeholders.

  • Designartefacts to share program impact with thestakeholders.

As theproject scope increases there will be an increasing need to focuson project management and strategicplanning.
