We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer proficient in data modeling, data visualization techniques, and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into insightful, visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Responsibilities

Data Modeling: Design and develop efficient, scalable data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance.

Data Visualization: Create compelling and intuitive visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Data Visualization best practices to present complex data in a user-friendly manner.

SQL Expertise: Utilize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and reliability.

Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts and data engineers, to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Optimization: Continuously optimize and refine existing Power BI solutions to enhance performance and usability.

Documentation: Maintain documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards to ensure clarity and ease of understanding for end-users.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to users, empowering them to utilize Power BI effectively.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service. Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance. Experience in data modeling, transforming raw data into meaningful insights. Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with other data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, or Looker. Knowledge of ETL processes and tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Snowflake, etc.) and data warehouse concepts.
