About thejob

We are looking for a seasoned andexperienced professional Front End DeveloperTeam Lead. Thisapplicant will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a smallteam of frontend developers on and off shore to ensure thesuccessful delivery of highquality web applications. The rolerequires a handson approach where you will actively contribute todevelopment tasks while providing guidance and mentorship to yourteam members. You will be responsible for driving the technicaldirection of projects ensuring UI development guidelines bestpractices and standards are followed and collaborating withcrossfunctional teams to drive and evolve the companys brandthroughout the user experience.

In addition to your technical expertise in HTML CSS andJavaScript you will have strong leadership and project managementskills to deliver highquality web solutions. The position willreport to the Technology Lead and will also work as a liaisonbetween the Development and QA teams. You will collaborate withdesigners to transform design mockups and wireframes intoresponsive and interactive web applications ensuring a seamlessuser experience.

The role is onsite MondayFriday 2pm11pm IST.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of two frontend developers fostering acollaborative and innovative work environment
Lead byexample actively participating in the development of frontendsolutions
Ensure the successful execution of frontenddevelopment tasks distribute work assignments and monitor progressadhering to project timelines and milestones
Promote apositive team culture that values communication accountability andcontinuous improvement
Work with digital designers anddevelopers to implement compelling designs and innovative solutionsfor the website and help maintain all userfacingfeatures
Develop CSS and asset libraries as well asproduce reusable code to help maintain consistency in brandexecution
Communicate with clients in order to executedesired results for UI features provided in our SaaSofferings
Assist QA to test pages on multiple browsersand displays across mobile tablet and desktop devices; helpidentify problems and provide recommendations andsolutions
Stay abreast of industry trends and emergingtechnologies incorporating them into the teams workflow whereapplicable

Who You Are

Previous experience in a Leadership andManagement role A MUST
10 year experience in frontenddevelopment (HTML5 CSS3 Javascript)
Ability to balancehandson development with leadership responsibilities
Great communication and organization skills with strong attentionto detail
Solid understanding of implementingbestpractice high performance responsive interfaces for the modernweb
Expert in HTML with the ability to write clean andwelldocumented code
Mastery in CSS frameworks andpreprocessors such as LESS Flexbox CSS Grid etc.
Expertise in JavaScript as well as modern JS frameworks/libraries(JQuery React etc.)
Highly knowledgeable of theprinciples of design responsive design and bestpractices
Ability to convert a digital mockup into afunctional userfacing feature on the website
Understanding of SEO principles as well as accessibilityrequirements (WCAG ADA)
Working knowledge of Email HTMLand Email Development
Ability to present code andhandoff solutions to developers
Up to date with thelatest UI best practices techniques and technologies
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while followingpriorities
Team player with a positiveattitude
Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceInformation Technology or a related field
