Job Overview:

The Associate - Leasing (Industrial/Warehousing) will play a critical role in managing and expanding the leasing portfolio for our industrial and warehousing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial real estate markets, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to client management. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Tenant Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential tenants. Act as the primary point of contact for leasing inquiries and tenant issues.

·         Leasing Activities: Assist in all aspects of the leasing process including market analysis, property tours, lease negotiations, and lease document preparation.

·         Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive properties. Provide insights to support strategic leasing decisions.

·         Property Management Support: Collaborate with the property management team to ensure tenant satisfaction and address any operational issues.

·         Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants. Coordinate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.

·         Reporting: Prepare and present regular leasing activity reports, market analyses, and occupancy forecasts to senior management.

·         Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial models and projections for leasing scenarios. Analyze lease agreements and financial implications.

·         Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing, preferably within the industrial or warehousing sector.

 

Skills:

·         Strong understanding of commercial real estate principles and practices.

·         Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

·         Ability to analyze financial statements and lease agreements.

·         Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Certifications:  Real Estate license or relevant certification is preferred.
