Responsibilities
  • Createand maintain the optimal data pipelinearchitecture.
  • Build the infrastructure requiredfor optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from awide variety of data sources using leading ELT and ETL tools suchas Airbyte SuperMetrics and similartools.
  • Assemble large complex data sets thatmeet functional / nonfunctional businessrequirements.
  • Build analytics tools anddashboards that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionableinsights into customer acquisition buying behavior and other keybusiness performance metrics.
  • Work withstakeholders Product Data and Development teams to assist withdatarelated technical issues and support their data infrastructureneeds.
  • Organize the data to ensure costefficiency fast retrieval and security through appropriateselection of availability zones andregions.
  • Build processes and select appropriatetechnology to promote operational efficiency and help strengthenthe market competitiveness of ourproduct.


DesiredSkills andQualifications
  • Advancedknowledge of SQL should be able to write complex queries joiningdata from multiple sources and presenting a coherent view to theend user.
  • Should have experience working withrelational databases such as MS SQL Server MySQL and PostgreSQL.Should have working knowledge to set up a database restore frombackup create read replicas etc.
  • Some exposureto NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra will be anadvantage.
  • Experience with free source andproprietary ELT and ETL tools such as Airbyte SuperMetrics orsimilar ones. Must have handson experience of building endtoenddata pipelines for a production system pulling data from sourcessuch as Shopify Facebook and Google Analytics into local datawarehouses.
  • Experience with data transformationusing DBT or similar tools to shape the incoming data into thedesired format. Should have the necessary analytical skills to workwith the unstructured data and convert those into actionableinsights.
  • Exposure to workflow orchestrationusing Airflow or similar tools.
  • Workingknowledge of data warehousing tools such as Google BigQuery orAmazon Redshift.
  • Having some exposure towriting functions using Python will be aplus.
  • Having 4 years of experience as a DataEngineer or similar role.
  • Engineering orequivalent degree from a reputedinstitute.
