About theRole

As a SeniorData Engineer we are looking for someone passionate about workingas part of a team to deliver highquality professional dashboardsthat have a business impact.

Experience inyears:

At least 5 years ofhandson experience using AWS to deliver complex data pipelines forlarge or dynamic organizations (MNCs or Startups)

Area of Responsibility

Working with our Product Owner and Business Analysts todeliver data pipelines and standardized data assets as part of ourregional data model:

Breaking downrequirements into deliverable work packages that can be estimatedand support roadmap creation. Supporting ourregional architects in defining a regional data model ofstandardized data assets which maximize data reusability. Delivering data assets that transform rawdata into semantic data assets that are harmonize across marketswithin the region. Implementing data pipelineto ingest and cleanse raw data from various source systemsincluding SaaS Cloud based and Onprep databases. Collaborating with Business Analysts and TableauDevelopers to develop the

Materialized / Table Views to be consumed byTableau and enable the dashboard visualizations:

  • Analyzing available data assets and deliverMaterialized / Table Views (incl.

joins window functions aggregation and calculations) basedon a scalable regional architecture.

  • Working with Business Analysts to understand KPIcalculations and ensuring data is consistently reported within thedashboard.
  • Implementing functionalrequirements including incremental loads data snapshots andidentity resolution

Optimizing datapipelines to improve performance and cost while ensuring a highquality of data within the data lake:

  • Monitoring services and jobs for cost and performanceensuring continual operations of data pipelines and fixing ofdefects
  • Constantly looking for opportunitiesto optimize data pipelines to improve performance.

Qualityfirst mindset witha strong focus on taking responsibility and ownership of their workand supporting the rest of the team towards a common goal.
