Description: Manage completeaccurate and timely compliance of all direct taxes (corporateincome tax MAT and withholding tax) and indirect taxes (VAT/SalesTax Excise Tax and Services Tax) for all business operations inIndia including managing all advance taxes andreturns. Manage GSTroll out: Lead and drive GST roll out and implementation across theGroup in a most tax efficient and fully compliantmanner. Manage Taxassessments: Drive closure of all tax assessments departmentalaudits inspections enquiry etc. Make personal presentations withtax authorities asrequired. ManageTax Planning: Drive tax planning and strategy to optimize taximplications within permissible transaction and businessstructures. ProvideTax consultation to operating teams: Engage and inform all internalcustomers business partner on relevant tax regulation changes andrelated risks/opportunities arising there from. Resolving taxqueries. Proactively engaging with business teams and supportstrategy planning andexecution. Overseassubsidiaries and Joint Ventures: Drive tax compliance and taxplanning for all international business entities in respectivejurisdiction. Provide advice to international business team on taxstructure relating to newgeographies.
