:Summary
As a Contingent Workforce Specialist, you would be responsible for supporting the operations of the contingent labour program and driving operational excellence through partnerships with Epiq’s hiring managers, internal team members, and external suppliers. This position will work in alignment with the US-based team to assist in processing onboarding and offboarding tasks, as well as assignment amendments and extensions, releases, and other related activities within the Beeline VMS, time file coordination, program audits, and supporting the contingent workforce shared mailbox.
The Contingent Workforce Team plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the utilization of contingent labour for the company, which includes external talent resources such as temporary workers, contractors, freelancers, and consultants. Epiq operates a self-managed contingent labour program and utilizes a vendor management system (VMS), with key responsibilities for vendor management, onboarding and offboarding of workers, compliance and risk management, performance management, and operational support for our business.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor the contingent workforce shared inbox and respond as needed to inquiries. Process contingent worker transactions in related systems (Workday HCM, Beeline VMS, and SAP), such as amendments, extensions, and releases, as well as resolving integration errors. Assist with weekly time file management using SAP reports. Create reports using various applications (Workday, Beeline, SAP, and Excel) to provide value-added information to the business. Assist with the creation and ongoing updates of contingent workforce policies, guidelines, processes, and best practices, including ongoing education to teams and managers. Provide backup to additional team members managing the full lifecycle of staffing requests from managers. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with contingent workforce program support or a related role in talent acquisition or staffing. Problem-solving and time management skills to facilitate timely completion of simultaneous projects both independently and with others. Ability to quickly learn applications and systems. Demonstrated strength in written and verbal English communication. Ability to represent Epiq externally in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service both internally and externally. Ability to think critically and use a broad range of complex information to identify recommendations and solutions. Curious mindset and drive for process improvement and operational efficiency. Previous system experience with a VMS or HCM (e.g., Beeline, Workday, etc.) Preferred. Broad HR background or interest (talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, etc.) as it pertains to a contingent workforce Preferred. MS Office 365 proficiency (Outlook and Excel – VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, and formulas).
