As a Company Secretary at FinQuest Financial Solutions Private Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing corporate governance practices, and providing guidance on company law matters. You will be responsible for overseeing the company's secretarial functions and working closely with the senior management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Coordinate and prepare agendas, minutes, and resolutions for board meetings, committee meetings, and general meetings.
  • Manage the process of filing statutory returns and other documents with regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and books of the company.
  • Provide guidance and support to the board of directors on corporate governance matters.
  • Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and best practices related to company secretarial matters.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Advise senior management on legal and regulatory issues affecting the company.
  • Support in drafting and reviewing legal contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and resolve corporate governance issues.

Requirements

Education: Qualified Company Secretary (CS)

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Company Secretary in a corporate environment.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of company law, corporate governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications and company secretarial software.
  • Attention to detail and meticulousness in maintaining records and documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in carrying out responsibilities.
