Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware
Implementation of configuration change activity for firewall/security devices & toolsMonitor network traffic for anomalies and respond swiftly to security incidentsConduct comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability testingDevelop, implement, and enforce robust security policies and proceduresPerform in-depth analysis of security incidents to identify root causes and impactsPrepare detailed incident reports and provide actionable recommendations for remediationCollaborate with IT and other departments to ensure cohesive security strategiesStay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technological advancementsComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience in network security and incident responseSolid knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Email Security, SIEM and other security technologiesFamiliarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO , NIST)Proven excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsSolid communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualification: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
