The Role

You will be responsible for :

  • Develop and maintain the Android HAL for our products
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to define and document HAL requirements and specifications
  • Design and implement HAL interfaces to enable seamless communication between hardware and software components
  • Troubleshoot and debug HAL-related issues, and provide effective solutions
  • Optimize HAL performance to meet system requirements and improve overall product performance
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of the HAL to ensure reliability and functionality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Android HAL development and incorporate industry best practices into our solutions37550

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Android HAL development
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++
  • Solid understanding of Android framework and hardware architecture
  • Shall be aware of Android HAL AOSP architecture and be able to develop a new one.
  • Aware of the Android Concepts Se policy, config and board config files
  • Familiarity with Android HAL architecture and APIs
  • Experience with debugging tools and techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Knowledge of Android NDK and JNI is a plus
