The Job
You will be responsible for :
Develop and maintain the Android HAL for our products
Collaborate with software and hardware teams to define and document HAL requirements and specifications
Design and implement HAL interfaces to enable seamless communication between hardware and software components
Troubleshoot and debug HAL-related issues, and provide effective solutions
Optimize HAL performance to meet system requirements and improve overall product performance
Conduct thorough testing and validation of the HAL to ensure reliability and functionality
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Android HAL development and incorporate industry best practices into our solutions37550
The Profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in Android HAL development
Strong programming skills in C/C++
Solid understanding of Android framework and hardware architecture
Shall be aware of Android HAL AOSP architecture and be able to develop a new one.
Aware of the Android Concepts Se policy, config and board config files
Familiarity with Android HAL architecture and APIs
Experience with debugging tools and techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Knowledge of Android NDK and JNI is a plus
