RoleSynopsis

Thisrole will focus on progressing the Customer Credit Collectionsstrategy for region to deliver externally benchmarked top quartilecustomer debt management credit risk management including designdevelopment and delivery of process within scope across businessand functions support

Therole with provide leadership to a large team with multifacetedstrengths located in Asian and ANZ centres and be accountable forthe service delivery provided by Business Process OutsourcingPartner.

Therole will be accountable for the endtoend management and executionfor the Group for defined Customer Credit Management Collectionsactivities and actively work with senior business finance andleaders within multiple business leadershipforums.

Therole will work with key customers to implement and drive processand technology solutions create to drive continuous improvementdelivery efficient and compliantoperations.

KeyAccountabilities

  • Youwill develop and communicate a clear vision and Strategy for CreditManagement Collections in line with GroupPolicies

  • Youwill develop and translate strategy into short and longer termoperational goals objectives and process roadmaps; identifynecessary resources (people and capital) to support theimplementation of thesestrategies.

  • Youwill supervise end to end process performance metrics to supportthe existing ongoing multiple and varied Strategic PerformanceUnits Business Units and Functional teamobjectives.

  • Youwill be responsible for achieving top quartile process performancewith Credit Management Collections: developing and measuringperformance through standardised metrics.

  • Youwill be responsible for executing Credit Management Collectionsprocess activities whilst ensuring legal and compliancerequirements are met in all jurisdictions; liaising with relevantfunctional groups on policy direction; setting and maintainingprocess standards (including robust controls): and supportingoptimisation efforts through Continuous Improvement and Technologyenabled solutions e.gRPA

  • Youwill implement global process standard and design (GPDS) acrossyour process areas enabled by deployment of global templatesembedded within relevant ERP Customer Service global templateand/or enabling technology templates; driving commonalities inprocesses across SPUs and BUs; and deploying with relevant businessprogrammes of work. (e.g. Nike andGSD).

  • Youwill ensure Credit Management Collections processes and standardsare accurately incorporated in the Enterprise Activity Model(EAM)

  • Youwill be responsible for identifying and closing Credit ManagementCollections process performance gaps based on the performancemetrics audits and where applicable externalbenchmarking.

  • Workingwith the Global and/or Regional / Business / Function you willensure that local Continuous Improvement projects are identifiedand delivered to support global process standards andstrategy.

  • Youwill work to drive RPA opportunities to enable processexecution.

  • Youwill be responsible for managing a diverse team made up of bothdirect and indirectstaff.

  • Youwill build and support the development of Credit ManagementCollections processes subject matter expertise within centres.Supporting talent development and retention by involvement ofsubject matter experts and/or super users at all levels of theorganisation

Essentialqualification and experience

  • Suitablyqualified professional with degree or similar education backgroundwith 15 years of experience

  • Significantindustry business services outsourcing or similarexperience

  • Astrong track record of leading Credit Management Collections teamswithin a business services centre in an organisation of similaroperationalscale.

  • Workedin global multinational or similar diverse businessenvironments.

  • Demonstratedexperience in business process management and reengineering ifpossible

  • Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills required given diversenature of operatinglandscape.

  • Exceptionalinfluencing skills and the ability to motivate cross functional anddiverseteams

  • Fluencyin Business English Passion for driving continuous improvement withclear evidence of same in professional or businessbackground.
