Job Summary:
Provideshighlevel technical support and expertise associated withcontinuous monitoring and management of corporate voice and datanetworks. Performs network configuration monitoring troubleshootingof outages and performance degradation tuning and optimizationmaintenance and coordination of technical support with IT servicegroups and external service providers.

Level of Responsibility:
Complexresponsibilities related to primary focus of job area
Uses best practices and indepth business knowledge to solve complexproblems and improve products or services
May adaptprocedures processes and techniques to meet the more complexrequirements of position

EssentialFunctions:
Assist in the overall integrationplanning design and implementation of enterprisewide networksincluding both voice and data networks as well as securitysystems.
Isolate coordinate and resolve performanceproblems utilizing a variety of hardware and softwarediagnostic/testing tools and techniques.
Provideguidance and work leadership for daytoday activities.
Use best practices and knowledge of business and technology issuesto improve the teams work processes.
Monitor evaluateand maintain security systems according to industry best practicesto safeguard internal information systems and databases.
Schedule planned outages and coordinate withstakeholders.
Perform system upgrades andbackups.
Tune adjust and perform routine operationalchecks on equipment.
Maintain data and records asrequired.
Coordinate work with customer andinternal/external service providers.

Education/Work Experience:
BachelorsDegree And 5 years experience working in Networking orTelecommunications Systems
Associates Degree in atechnical field and 7 years experience working in Networking orTelecommunications Systems
High School Diploma/GED And 8years experience working in Networking or TelecommunicationsSystems.
