About Function/Department
Response is the Marketing and Sales function of the Company and contributes 90% to the Company’s topline. The function has more than 1700 employees who are engaged in business planning, business development, revenue assurance, fulfilment of client orders, and sales capability building. The function uses world class processes, cutting edge technology and analytics to ensure that business growth objectives are met.
About the Position
This position is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Areas of Responsibility
New age brand solutioning. Ability to leverage content, masthead and credibility of our business/medium Ability to work with brands, understand their business and brand objectives and carve out customised partnership opportunities basis the brief. Extremely strong revenue orientation. This is NOT a creative profile. Ability to identify consumer trends and build relevant, new age, platform agnostic, content driven IPs and brand solutions. Rapidly build consumer participation by growing Offline & Online communities and enabling consistent long term engagement. Design and leverage relevant content for these platforms Internal & External stakeholder management. Presentation decks, knowledge of the digital medium is critical.
Educational Qualifications Required
Graduates/MBA candidates preferred
Relevant Experience
Preferably 10-15 years of experienceRequired Skills:
Previous experience in concept selling Excellent oral, written communication skills Knowledge of the industry and the market Knowledge of MS Power Point & Excel is a must
