Role/Job Title – Head-Recon [Retail and Wholesale]

Function/Department – Information Technology

Job Purpose:

Have ownership of delivering all requirements related to Reconciliations in the bank for Retail and Wholesale business. This role manages two sub verticals – Retail Recon and Whole Banking Recon.

Support projects and ensure they deliver on time, budget and with agreed scope . Work with vendors’ technical staff to design and help develop deliverables.

Coordinate all technical design and development activities across internal and vendor team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Overall 15+ years of experience. Stakeholder management is a key aspect of this role. The stakeholders are from 2 businesses – Retail and Wholesale. The person should be techno functional. Has proven experience in running Recon implementation in the bank for few years. Have worked on Recon tool and knows how it works. Experience on using DIM platform would be great advantage. Have gone through regulator, information security audits on recon implementation. Have experience in setting up large teams or Center of excellence. This person is responsible for setting up CoE for Recon Implementation in the plan. The delivery is going to be Hybrid where there is an in-house team doing deliveries. If required, he needs to work with vendors or FIS to manage turnkey deliveries in case of bandwidth constraints on in house team. Ensure project plans are completed fully with all required documents included in time and quality. Ensure vendor delivery as per defined standards and required documentations are completed. Work with business managers and set up project status meetings and project steering committees. Manage and optimize vendor resourcing & staffing activities. Manage project budget, identify overruns and escalate to finance. Have expertise in project management, people leadership, stakeholder and vendor management. Tech experience on MSSQL is necessary.
