YAAS (YouTube as a Service) is a media company. We manage everything related to our clients' YouTube channels and Instagram accounts. Right from IP ideation to scripting, filming, production, editing, and uploading videos — we do it all. This allows our clients to focus on their core business while we take care of their content game.
We are seeking a talented and versatile Script Writer with a passion for health and wellness to join our team. This role requires a creative storyteller with the ability to craft engaging, informative, and impactful scripts for various media, particularly YouTube and Instagram. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the wellness industry and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, relatable way that resonates with audiences and aligns with brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling, original scripts for YouTube videos and other content formats tailored to health and wellness topics.
- Create narratives and storylines that communicate client messages clearly and effectively while maintaining viewer engagement.
- Research health and wellness trends, facts, and insights to create informative and credible content.
- Work closely with editors, producers, and other creative team members to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual storytelling.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content creation for wellness.
- Contribute ideas for new series, formats, and concepts that can enhance engagement and grow audiences for our clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in scriptwriting, particularly in health and wellness or related fields.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of content that demonstrates skill in creating engaging, audience-focused wellness content.
- Familiarity with the YouTube platform, including best practices for video content structure, pacing, and viewer engagement strategies.
- Strong research skills to ensure accuracy and depth in wellness topics.
- Experience collaborating with content creators, influencers, or teams within the media or wellness industry.

- Excellent storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex health concepts into accessible language.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and hooks that maintain viewer interest throughout a video.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and how to create a seamless narrative in video content.
- Ability to tailor content to a wellness audience while adhering to brand voice and objectives.
- Time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
