Job Description:

This role will support India local senior leadership in the coordination of regional procurement efforts to ensure efficient and effective growth of the supply base which is anticipated to grow up to 3-4x in the next 5 years. This role will be a key advisor to the senior India procurement team and interact with country management and Procurement and Product VP’s globally.

Key job duties are:

- Develop and enforce standard work for the Senior Procurement Country Management committee, as well regional Indian category sub councils, including process for escalation and prioritization
- Develop and maintain applications that coordinate senior/executive level visits to strategic suppliers, leading these visits when necessary
- Develop and maintain applications that help identify and prioritize supplier development activities and the assignment of lead resources in region
- Chair meetings for the India Procurement Country Management committee, recommending content, coordinating material development, and driving actions
- Develop, populate, and issue executive level metric reports on Indian supply base development to the VP, SVP and EO levels
- Work with the Senior Procurement Country Management committee and HR on talent development protocols for procurement professions in region as well as external recruitment strategies
- Drive information sharing across the regional India category sub councils

Role Definition
Supports the execution of designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring procurement capabilities to provide business solutions that are regionally effective & applicable.

Responsibilities
• Leading projects associated with lean processes, regional market understanding, tools, and systems.
• Designs and develops solutions, collaborates with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepares implementation plans for successful deployment.
• Contributes to strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and develop the associated tools & training.
• Serves as the lead technical representative for a respective discipline, and will work directly with a wide range of procurement / enterprise representatives, including presenting recommendations to senior leaders.


Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. 12 -17 years of procurement experience highlighting consistent growth in responsibilities. Strong communication, relationship, and project management skills.
