IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

As an Assistant Finance Controller at Envalior, you will play a critical role in supporting the Financial Controllers with finance planning, actuals, closing, and reporting activities for assigned reporting units. You’ll contribute to ensuring that all financial processes are executed smoothly and accurately, in line with company policies and accounting standards.

You will make key contributions to Envalior

  • Assist in financial closing activities, including financial and management reporting, adhering to relevant accounting standards and internal procedures.
  • Perform sanity checks of the P&L and coordinate variance analysis to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct Balance Sheet monitoring, including variance analysis and understanding of open items.
  • Review the integrity and quality of sub-ledgers, ensuring accurate balance reconciliation.
  • Provide content for journal entries (e.g., accruals, provisions, prepayments) to the shared service center.
  • Provide evidence for the internal control framework and follow up on remediation plans as needed.
  • Take responsibility for product costing, manufacturing performance variance analysis, inventory management, Capex, and deliver first-line analysis and insights for actuals. Set up relevant allocation cycles in SAP.
  • Support Finance Master Data workflows and requests.
  • Assist with audit and tax activities.
  • Provide support on projects and other ad hoc activities as required.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Controlling, or an equivalent field.
  • Has 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Experience in a shared service environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
  • Proficient in SAP, especially FI/CO modules.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights.
  • Has a good command of English (both verbal and written).
