We are an exponentially growing Solar EPC Company. We are looking for a Finance Controller to manage and oversee day-to-day financial operations, streamline accounting processes, and provide strategic financial leadership as we scale our business.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations and Control
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and compliance.
- Streamline and supervise the in-house accounting processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and controls in alignment with company goals.
2. Financial Planning and Strategy
- Provide strategic advice to the leadership team on financial matters, investment opportunities, and risk management.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance and strategic position.
3. Taxation and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all statutory tax filings, GST, and other legal financial requirements.
- Manage external audits and ensure alignment with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and other relevant financial regulations.
4. Team Development and Training
- Mentor and guide the existing in-house accountant to upgrade skills in line with organizational needs.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the company scales.

Qualifications and Skills
Education
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (Mandatory).
- Additional qualifications such as MBA in Finance or CFA are a plus.
Experience
- 7-10+ years in financial management, preferably in MSME or Solar EPC industries.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations and compliance.
- Familiarity with Indian accounting standards and ERP systems.
Skills
- Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP software, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Hands-on experience in taxation, financial planning, and risk management.
