Overview:The role of aPhysical Design Engineer is crucial to our organization as itinvolves the implementation and validation of complex integratedcircuit designs. This role plays a vital part in ensuring theoverall performance power and cost objectives of our semiconductorproducts. Physical design engineers work closely with various teamsto optimize and analyze designs for maximum efficiency andfunctionality.KeyResponsibilities:

• Contribute to thephysical design and implementation of complex digitalblocks.
• Execute floor planning power planningand placement optimizations for optimalperformance.
• Collaborate with RTL design andverification teams to ensure design objectives aremet.
• Perform static timing analysis and timingclosure for design signoff.
• Utilize EDA toolsfor physical design and timingclosure.
• Generate and implement low powerdesign techniques.
• Work on DFT (Design forTestability) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing)methodologies.
• Optimize designs for yieldmanufacturability and reliability.
• Conductdesign reviews and provide relevant design documentation andreports.
• Support and contribute to thedevelopment of physical design methodologies and bestpractices.

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or relatedfield.
• Proven experience in physical design andimplementation of complex ICdesigns.
• Proficiency in RTL design synthesisand ASIC flow.
• Strong understanding of statictiming analysis and timing closuretechniques.
• Experience with EDA tools such asSynopsys Cadence or MentorGraphics.
• Familiarity with low power designmethodologies and techniques.
• Knowledge of DFTand DFM practices for IC designs.
• Excellentproblemsolving and analytical skills.
• Abilityto work collaboratively in a crossfunctional teamenvironment.
• Strong verbal and writtencommunicationskills.
