Job DescriptionJohn Crane is looking for a Senior Engineer Planner. This position is very critical to manage the Internal and External customer orders. Planning of PWO almost 150 to 200 every day. Reschedule in and out dates for PWO for customer requirement. Responsible for planning the sales numbers for IC and Externals on an average of ~ 650 K GBPReview and handling of Exception messages in terms of smooth delivery and Inventory. Daily Meeting with execution teams like Purchase, Production and CST/Sales team for new orders and Back Orders review. Ensure load balancing of the plant, drive Delivery Performance above target by analyzing skills. Monthly/Weekly & Daily sales plan update to shopfloor.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities :
Reviewing of customer Orders and ensuring clean execution in the business system involving Global Planning procedure. Liaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, Dispatch and Finance departments to ensure safe and timely delivery of products at customer sites; and statutory requirements are compiled to material requirement and machining time analysis and Capacity Planning. Work orders and process sheet monitoring. Preparing the Operation reports for OTD & OTIF weekly & Monthly. Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization. Anticipate overload and under load situations and alert the CST. Be present in shop floor, perform machine loading plan. Develop production plan and monitor plan adherence in shop floor. Ensure load balancing of the plant, drive OTD & OTIF as per target by analyzing skills. Ensure effective implementation of pull system in the for the material to provide better serviceability to customer. Inventory management for operations will be one of the key responsibilities for this position. Hence regular reports and actions to be created in time and tracked for timely completion of actions from assigned departments Review and managing processes and procedures for IMS audits The IndividualSkills and Experience :
BE Or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Production Minimum 8 to 10 years experience with significant proven supervisory experience. Understanding of SAP (PP & MRP) Key relationships – PED /Stores / Purchase/ QA & Machine shop & Assembly Shop. Subordinate workforce – Sales, Customer, Engineering , Data team & Finance Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making. Maintaining the OTD – 85% - FY24 OTIF Target – 75 % FY24 Planning – Accuracy 100% Order Failure Analysis weekly Inventory Analysis monthlyDiversity & Inclusion:
