Your day at NTT DATA

The role of the Senior Deal Desk Analyst is to act as a trusted advisor to the sales and technical delivery team(s), working as the primary point of contact amongst various business areas , and constructing how non-standard deals should work. The Senior Deal Desk Analyst typically makes sure that deals are correctly constructed, guides teams to best pricing to maximize revenue, and addressing the complex details involved in a non-standard contract process to make certain the deal is completed promptly.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Consults on the construction and maintenance of a master view of deal pipeline informationCollect, compile and validate pipeline information received from internal stakeholdersProvide periodic updates to internal teams for visibility on upcoming service activation requestsDirects the analysis of pipeline information at regular intervalsAccountable for documenting and providing analysis to relevant managers to derive resource planning for supported technologyDrive the identification demand of new technologies from analysisNetworks with internal stakeholders to do a preliminary of resource sizing for new technologiesReview effort sizing with internal teams before submitting to internal Commercial team for further analysis of deal viabilityServe as a subject matter expert in Deal Desk activities, which impact quota setting, bookings attainment, and deal structuringServe as the expert advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting, advises the team on alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closureConsults on complex deal questions and Quote to Cash process questionsNetworks with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closureNetworks with Sales Operations and Sales Systems teams to facilitate process and system improvements


Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Demonstrated ability to partner with Go-to-Market teams and other cross functional departmentsStrong understanding of revenue recognition rulesHighly organized, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to detailsStrong communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedbackStrong to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during End of Month, End or QuarterStrong to prioritize and effectively manage distractionsStrong quantitative skills and highly proficient in sales tools and software


Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study


Required Experience:

Advanced demonstrated Deal Desk, Order Management, Finance Operations, Sales Operations or Pricing experience preferredAdvanced demonstrated experience in Direct and Channel Sales model is highly desirable
