We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to spearhead the planning, execution, and delivery of groundbreaking embedded software projects. This role demands a proactive, hands-on leader with a customer-first mindset and ownership from project inception to delivery. We need someone who is comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and confidently making decisions to lead projects to success.


At L4B Software you will:

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of embedded software projects—from initial planning and execution to final delivery and post-launch support.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay within budget.
  • Drive process improvements by streamlining operations, eliminating excess procedures, and improving project velocity.
  • Employ agile project management methodologies to adapt swiftly to evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware experts, QA testers, and external partners, fostering seamless collaboration.

Technical Leadership:

  • Define project scope, technical requirements, and allocate resources efficiently, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to ensure the technical viability of project solutions, proactively resolving technical obstacles.
  • Act as a bridge between the development team and customers, aligning deliverables with business needs.
  • Take ownership of project challenges, leading technical direction when necessary and motivating the team towards a shared vision.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating project status, risks, and deliverables regularly.
  • Ensure alignment between stakeholders and project goals, establishing shared goals and delivering transparent updates.
  • Foster strong relationships through effective stakeholder engagement and timely identification of potential challenges.

Adaptability & Independence:

  • Thrive in a startup-like challenging environment, effectively handling the uncertainties and rapid changes typical of such settings.
  • Comfortable working independently, often stepping up as a lone warrior to propel projects forward.
  • Adopt a hands-on, problem-solving attitude to tackle challenges in a startup environment, with a knack for defining processes on the go.
  • Take initiative without waiting for direction, act decisively, and handle complex challenges to ensure project success.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by developing streamlined project management practices and mentoring team members.


RequirementsWhat you will bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in software development or embedded systems.
  • Deep technical understanding of embedded software, Linux, Yocto or similar environments.
  • Proven experience thriving in a startup environment, with a knack for taking initiative and navigating uncertainties.
  • Expertise in agile project management methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional and international teams.
  • PMP or Scrum Master Certification is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with automotive, consumer electronics, or medical device industries is highly desirable.

  • Project Management: Strong expertise in planning, risk management, schedule control, budgeting, and project reporting.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of embedded software, Linux systems, and related tools.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams, take ownership, and lead projects with confidence and clarity.
  • Agility: Highly adaptable, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity, capable of working independently and making swift decisions.
