Roles and Responsibilities: 1.Monitor and ensure theproduction within the cost estimate
Plan organize directand run optimum daytoday operations.
Allocate themanpower Schedules and inventory needed for production.
2.Ensure process quality
Follow schedules andstandards.
Provide direction and leadership to thedepartmental team to achieve high
quality andproductivity.
Develop systems and processes that trackand optimize productivity and
standards metrics andperformance targets to ensure effective return on
assets.
3.Coordinate on training anddevelopment
Maintain efficient work force.
Facilitate employee hiring training development andperformance
evaluations.
Ensures training andeducation on specific tasks safety issues and
companyrelated functions
Address employees issues orgrievances 4.Inventory and budgetcontrol
Determine the materials budgetinvolved
Maintain adequate supply of departmental shopsupplies and materials
Develop cost cutting mechanismsby replacement/substitution of existing
process andmaterials in compositions
Submits department budgets andassists in the capital equipment
implementationprocess
Assure proper maintenance of equipment tools andhousekeeping. OtherSkills required:
Proven experience in strategic planningor executive support
Strong analytical and criticalthinking skills
Excellent communication and presentationskills
Proficient in MS Office and strategic planningtools
Ability to work collaboratively and thinkstrategically.
Knowledge of the manufacturing /Fabrication industry would be an added
advantage.
