Accountability/Responsibilities

SME and Resource Development :

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partners and review and recommend business relevant and important Technology skills needed for the team and help design a plan to achieve learning objectives for the team. Think ahead, collaborate with our strategic partners, internal stakeholders and come up with the training priorities, lead the design and development of the training curriculum and plan for the sessions with the team based on the demand. Keep the training content upto date, get constant feedback from the technical team leads and maintain the repository for future reference. Self motivated, driven and continuously improving the skills of the team on all technology areas related to Cloud.

Engineering

Should be able to work in SRE/Engineering space by following the SDLC process and delivering products and platform with high standard. Can design and develop products with little instructions, should be able to troubleshoot in case of adverse incident by dissecting complex problems. Be able to appreciate truly Agile ways of working and keeping up with the pace of changes within the organisation.

Training Assessment and Mentorship :

Ensure the team in the Cloud Academy is getting the right level of knowledge focusing in cloud related technology through the training partners and continuously evaluate them. Serve as a mentor to team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development Motivate the team, keep them engaged well, Embrace the growth mindset, encourage to achieve more while embedding the overall M&G culture to the young talents. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback and collaboration with the strategic training partner, continuously refining content based on results. Review the assignments submitted by the team and have 1 to 1 counselling with appropriate feedback to the individual trainee.

Management and reporting :

Help our training partners to find the right talent in the market who can be trained well in the technology areas of focus. Excellent interpersonal skills, effectively collaborate and articulate well with the stakeholders Reporting the status of the program about where the team is and alert on any blockers then and there. Keeping the allocated budget in mind and ensuring we are achieving the objectives within the budget allocated.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills (Key):

Good wider knowledge in Azure, right from designing the solution to delivery. Should be proficient about the Azure IaaS and PaaS resources and how it’s integrated within an enterprise. Thorough understanding of Continuous integration and continuous delivery using Azure DevOps/VSTS. Proficiency in developing infrastructure automation scripts in the form of Terraform , ARM templates and Azure Power Shell scripts Experience with containers, registries, and related orchestration technologies Hold some advanced cloud based certification in Azure Demonstrate the experience of mentoring a young team in cloud related technology. A passion for teaching and mentorship

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (DESIRABLE):

Hold a Certification for demonstraiting the Training skills like microsoft Certified Trainer. Experience with Asset management/Operations/IT support teams would be desirable. Experience with enterprise program and project management tools would be an added advantage. Exposure to people management

Experience:

6+ years of working in technology areas especially in cloud, with at least 3+ years of experience as a mentor and handling a freshers program 2+ years working with DevOps and CI CD technologies Good understanding of SDLC best practices, cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Good exposure to IT Infrastructure/Environment Set up and hands on experience in End to End Implementation for digital platforms is preferred. Experience working in fast paced agile environments and cross functional teams

Educational Qualification:

Preferably should have Technical/Science Graduation degree with specialization in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related discipline Intelligent automation certification would be an add on.
