JOB DESCRIPTION

Vontier’s Data & Analytics Hub is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Data & Analytics to join our team. The Senior Manager will have a critical role in growing the Data & Analytics capabilities across Vontier, partnering with multiple internal companies.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in developing and growing cross-functional teams interacting with business teams across the organization in the data and analytics space.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of data engineering, analysts, visualization and platform administration professionals.

- Develop and implement data analytics strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.

- Ensure data quality and accuracy by establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures.

- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data analytics needs and requirements.

- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and provide recommendations for tools and techniques to improve the effectiveness of the team.

- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

- Collaborate with other teams, such as IT and business operations, to ensure alignment of data analytics initiatives with overall business objectives.

- Provide coaching, mentorship and career development to team members.

Requirements:

- At least 7 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.

- Proven track record of managing, guiding, and growing data engineering, analyst, visualization and platform administration teams.

- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actional recommendations for senior leadership.

- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance regulations.

- At least 3 years of experience with snowflake or similar data warehouse technology.

- At least 3 years of experience with agile software development.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
