Overview:Weare hiring for an internet product company building excitinggames/game formats for multimillion users who are highly engagedwith the games that we publish. The games are delivered on AndroidiOS & Web(React.JS/phaser) platforms powered by a gameengine and a seamless platform. We take pride in the smooth UIability to handle high concurrency with nearsingledigit millisecondlatencies. Ours is a hybrid platform with computes running on bothonprem and in the cloud. We have plethora of serverless functionsand microservices built either on NodeJS or Java. We user websockets & messaging services to power game interactions ata realtime basis. During peak hours we experience many multiples ofload seen from offpeak hours and our application &infrastructure is tuned to handle the loads optimally. Our systemsgenerate many gigabytes of data everyday which is fed to ouranalytics engine for generating actionable insights. Our currentgame offerings are rummy poker carrom pool & fantasy sportsand we want to add games that would be highly engaging to gamers.Our goal is to offer the best experience possible constantlyraising the bar higher for performance scalability reusabilitysecurity as we move.   • TechnicalVision: Develop a clear plan for the mobile engineering departmentoutlining the direction and goals in alignment with the companysoverall vision andobjectives.
  • PlatformStrategy: Contribute to developing communicating and executing alongterm platform engineering strategy aligned with the companysgoals.
  • Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of skilled mobile engineers and managersfostering a collaborative and highperformanceculture.
  • CrossFunctionalCollaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to aligndevelopment efforts with overall companygoals.
  • ProjectOversight: Oversee planning execution and timely delivery ofcommitted initiatives ensuring projects are completed on time andwithinscope.
  • Innovation andExperimentation: Encourage innovation and experimentation fosteringa culture that values creative solutions to complexproblems.
  • SolutionDelivery: Collaborate with product managers UX/UI designers andother engineering teams to deliver seamless integratedsolutions.
  • StakeholderCommunication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders andleadership providing regular updates on project status challengesand milestones.
  • SkillBuilding and Enablement: Enhance skill acquisition and enablementacross the organization through immersive collaborativeoutcomedrivenengagements.
  • AppPerformance Improvement: Lead efforts to improve app performanceaiming for each page load to be below 1000milliseconds.
  • MethodologyImplementation: Define and implement best practices for appsubmission to the store and adopt agile and scrummethodologies.
  • TechStack Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate tech stacks basedon feature nature business goals and teamcapabilities.
  • BusinessAlignment: Understand business goals and mentor the teamaccordingly to ensurealignment.
  • Ownership:Own endtoend responsibilities of building features and/or launchingnew apps to thestore(s)
  • PerformanceReviews: Conduct performance reviews of senior teammembers.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • 18years of software Engineering experience with a focus onB2C/product in the past 5years
  • Provenexperience in mobile platform engineering with at least 6 years inleadershiproles.
  • Excellentcommunication presentation documentation and interpersonal skillswith the ability to collaborate effectively acrossteams.
  • Strategicmindset with the ability to align technical strategies withbusinessobjectives.
  • Provenexperience in Android and iOS development with at least 8 years ofexperience.
  • Experiencein competitive analysis and tracking key parameters for mobileapplications.
  • Experiencein hybrid mobile application development and web apps likeReactJS.
  • Knowledge ofKotlin Jetpack Compose Flutter and experience in performanceimprovement.
  • Experiencein defining standards for mobile design designing complex mobileapplications and working with designpatterns.
  • Experiencein building reusable components and using code optimization toolslikeSonar.
  • EstablishedCI/CD process within theteam.
  • Possessingstrong analytical and troubleshooting skills empowers professionalsto think critically and make informeddecisions.
  • Proficientin developing rich user interfaces with minimal latencyupdates/refreshes.
  • Solidunderstanding and experience of networking protocols and theirnuances to build low latencyapps.
  • Working with 3rdparty integrations like payment gateways analytics toolsetc.
  • Goodunderstanding of material designconcepts
  • Strong experience in hiring and buildingteams with strongtalent
