Responsibilities

Supporting the Global Research Center's Lab Unit in surfactants for product design and development across pertinent business segments. Executing projects by designing technical frameworks, meeting objectives, and facilitating the scale-up process. Leading innovation by identifying novel opportunities in the surfactants field, proposing innovative ideas, and conducting feasibility studies in collaboration with business segments. Contributing to surfactants sustainability efforts by implementing new and enhanced processes to reduce carbon footprint. Providing training and development in lab safety and good laboratory practices to colleagues.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, preferably with a focus on synthesis, particularly in surfactants and/or oleochemicals. A minimum of 3 years of industrial experience is necessary. International experience, such as a post-doctoral position, is desirable. Hands-on experience in synthesizing specialty (oleo) chemicals and/or surfactant molecules, with a clear understanding of their intended applications. Basic understanding of process development and subsequent scaling up. Proficiency in English communication. Ability to generate innovative ideas and develop inventive solutions
