Ab Initio Developer Job Description Whatyou will do: You will design and implement Ab Initio Solutionsusing GDE Express IT Query IT and other Ab Initio products MinimumKnowledge on Hadoop tech and how the hdfs files and layouts work.You will develop key modules independently using PDL andMetaprogramming constructs using all Ab Initio components You willcreate ETL solutions by closely working with stakeholders and dataexperts You should be able to work independently to create ETLsolutions with minimal guidance from seniors You should be dynamicand proactive in working with multiple teams at a platform levelYou have detailed understanding and hands on Ab Initio productslike GDE Query IT Control centre and Express IT You haveunderstanding of business requirements and transforming them intographs and plans You have understanding of continuous integrationand deployment processes in Ab Initio You have good hands onexperience in Unix shell scripting You have good understanding indevelopment of reusable Ab Initio components Knowledge of BankingDomain and Ab Initio version 4.x will be an added advantage DesiredSkills : The following skills will be desirable 5 years ofexperience in the design and delivery of ETL solutions AbInitiotools Advanced knowledge of application data and infrastructurearchitecture disciplines Experience in UNIX and/or AIX operatingenvironment and UNIX shell scripting is required Understanding ofarchitecture and design across all systems Ability to collaboratewith highperforming teams and individuals throughout the firm toaccomplish common goals Working experience as Agile developer andgood understanding of SDLC methodologies/guidelines Knowledge ofbig data technologies like Hadoop/HIVE/Spark
