Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager Supply Chain Management to join our team in Mumbai. This mid-level full-time position involves overseeing supply chain operations within a specific region, ensuring optimized processes and efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management systems with a deep understanding of optimization and cost management.
- Strong reverse logistics management skills to handle returns efficiently and minimize loss.
- Expertise in inventory management to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and replenishment of stock.
- Knowledge in spares distribution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of spare parts as per the demand.
- Experience in managing 3PL (Third Party Logistics) providers for warehousing and distribution operations.
- Proficient in managing warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, storage, and handling.
- Ability to engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including suppliers, transporters, and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of transport management to ensure timely and cost-effective goods movement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations within the region, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Implement warehouse management systems and optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory to maintain optimal levels and ensure accurate forecasting and replenishment.
- Coordinate spares distribution and ensure timely delivery to meet operational requirements.
- Work with 3PL providers to enhance logistics performance and maintain high service levels.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, storage, and handling.
- Engage with stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for transport management to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all supply chain activities.
