As werapidly expand we are seeking a passionate Hardware Design Engineerto join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to takeownership of projects from initial concept through toproduction. Job Summary:Asan Application Engineer at EMO Energy you will be responsible forinterfacing with clients understanding their technical requirementsand ensuring the seamless integration of EMOs battery technologiesinto various applications. This role requires a strong blend oftechnical knowledge hardware skills and experience in testing andvalidating battery systems. You will work closely with ourengineering teams to provide technical support optimize productperformance and drive successful clientoutcomes.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • TechnicalSupport: Provide handson support for the integration and testing ofEMO s ZEN PAC and other battery solutions in clientapplications.
  • Client Interaction: Liaise withclients to understand their needs troubleshoot issues and recommendappropriate technical solutions.
  • Testing& Validation: Conduct comprehensive testing of batterypacks including performance safety and reliability assessmentsunder various environmental conditions.
  • ProductCustomization: Work with the product development team to customizesolutions based on client feedback and specific applicationrequirements.
  • Documentation & Training:Prepare detailed technical documentation and provide training toclients on the operation and maintenance of batterysystems.
  • Field Support: Assist in onsiteinstallation configuration and troubleshooting of battery systemsin mobility and energy storageapplications.

RequiredSkills:
  • TechnicalExpertise: Strong knowledge of battery technologies batterymanagement systems (BMS) and thermal managementtechniques.
  • Hardware Skills: Handson experiencewith the assembly testing and troubleshooting of battery hardwareincluding safety systems like thermal runaway protection and shortcircuit mitigation.
  • Testing & Analysis:Proficiency in using testing equipment and software for batteryperformance analysis lifecycle testing and failureprediction.
  • Client Management: Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to translate technicaldetails into clientfriendlylanguage.
  • ProblemSolving: Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills with a proactive approach to identifying andresolving technical challenges.
  • Adaptability:Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to rapidlychanging client and projectneeds.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or arelated field.
  • 23 years of experience in asimilar role preferably in the EV or energy storageindustry.
  • Familiarity with AIbased monitoringsystems and semiautomated assembly processes is aplus.
