Overview:As aRadiologist Consultant (MD/DNB/DMRD) you will play a crucial rolein providing accurate and timely diagnoses through medical imagingutilizing your expertise to contribute to patient care andtreatment planning. Your role will be pivotal in interpretingcomplex medical images communicating findings to healthcare teamsand ensuring the highest standards of patientcare.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Perform andinterpret complex diagnostic imaging procedures such as Xrays MRICT scans and ultrasound.
  • Consult with referringphysicians to provide accurate and timely radiologyreports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teammeetings to discuss patient cases and treatmentplans.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safetyprotocols and quality assurancestandards.
  • Supervise and train radiologytechnologists and support staff.
  • Contribute toresearch initiatives and continuous learning in the field ofradiology.
  • Participate in the development andimplementation of radiology protocols andprocedures.
  • Provide expertise and guidance inthe acquisition and maintenance of imagingequipment.
  • Communicate effectively withpatients to explain procedures andfindings.
  • Contribute to the development andreview of radiology policies andprocedures.
  • Stay updated with advancements inradiology technology and treatmentmodalities.
  • Participate in oncall duties andemergency radiology services asrequired.
  • Collaborate with other healthcareprofessionals to ensure comprehensive patientcare.
RequiredQualifications:
  • MD or equivalentdegree in Radiology from a recognizedinstitution.
  • DNB (Diplomate of National Board)or equivalent qualification in Radiology.
  • DMRD(Diploma in Medical RadioDiagnosis) or equivalentspecialization.
  • Valid state medical license topractice as a Radiologist Consultant.
  • Provenexperience in interpreting diagnostic imaging and providingaccurate reports.
  • Strong knowledge of radiologyprotocols procedures and safetymeasures.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcareteams and patients.
  • Ability to work in afastpaced environment and prioritize patient care andsafety.
  • Commitment to continuous professionaldevelopment and staying abreast of industryadvancements.
  • Expertise in using medicalimaging software and technology for analysis andreporting.
  • Ability to mentor and train staffincluding radiology technologists and supportpersonnel.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills for accurate diagnosis and treatmentplanning.
  • Adherence to ethical and professionalstandards of conduct in radiologypractice.
  • Flexibility to participate in oncallduties and emergency services as per organizationalrequirements.
  • Understanding of legal andregulatory requirements related to radiologypractice.
