About the Role:

As a Cloud Admin L2, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of cloud-based virtualization platforms, specifically focusing on Red Hat Virtualization, VMware Virtualization, Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi, vSphere, vRealize, NSX, vCloud, and other related technologies. You will be working in a 24*7 shift environment to provide continuous support and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage cloud-based virtualization platforms including Red Hat Virtualization, VMware Virtualization, Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi, vSphere, vRealize, NSX, vCloud, and associated technologies.
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and updates to ensure optimal performance and security of the virtualized environment.
  • Handle incident management, problem resolution, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain high availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of various virtualization components.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to the virtualization environment, including standard operating procedures, configurations, and guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and assist in their skill development.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies to propose and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4.6+ years of experience in cloud administration, focusing on virtualization technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Red Hat Virtualization, VMware Virtualization, Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi, vSphere, vRealize, NSX, vCloud, and related technologies.
  • Prior experience with OEM technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a 24*7 operational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and individually with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
