This is a remote position.

Join a growing engineering teamas a DevOps Engineer and play a critical role in the seamlessdevelopment and deployment of cuttingedge IT security solutions.Collaborate with developers and SOC analysts to maintain a smoothdevelopment environment manage Kubernetes infrastructure and expandour dataplatform.
  • Workingon industryleading products delivering new features and tooling forthe development and SOCteams.
  • Developing infrastructure throughreusable code with automated tooling andtests.
  • Using metrics and monitoring datato ensure performance andreliability.
  • Collaborating with colleagues toresolve engineering problems andincidents.


Requirements
Dataplatform
  • Helpbuild solutions that reduce friction for the SOCteam
  • Help to research build and testnew tools to improve the SIEMservice.
  • Perform routine compliancebasedtasks for the dataplatform

Appplatform

  • Help build solutionsthat reduce friction for the developmentteam
  • Working with developers to ensuredevelopment follows established processes and works asintended
  • Maintain VMs VCS hostedappliances web servers and apps deployed in multiple Kubernetesclusters
  • Assisting development team withdeployments and building required infrastructure for appenvironments (e.g. dev staging andproduction)
  • Working on ways to automate andimprove development and releaseprocesses

Oncall

  • Participating in theweekly oncallrotations
  • Supporting other team membersduring their oncall rota wherenecessary

Incidentmanagement

  • Working with yourpeers help to identify resolve and report onincidents
  • Working with internal users andcustomers to identify areas of improvement afterincidents

Documentationandresearch

  • Contribute to internaldocumentation
  • Peer review documents created bythe team and QA externaldocuments

Support

  • SOC team: onboardingand log ingestion relatedissues
  • Dev team: deploymentstroubleshooting infra/app issues and Kubernetes clusteraccess
  • Technical presales: assist withtechnical questions regarding onboarding requirements fromcustomers
  • Information Security: assist withcompliance audits (e.g. ISO27001 ISO9001 PCI) to provide evidenceofcompliance

General

  • Work closely withinternal technology specialist and developers to understand newtechnology requirement and addresschallenges.
  • Work with third party providersto identify ways to integrate and consume data from key platformAPI.
  • Perform indepthtroubleshooting
  • Train internal stakeholders onthe use of tools anddashboards
  • Testing and examining codewritten by others and analysingresults
  • Ensuring that systems are safeand secure against cybersecuritythreats
  • Identifying technical problemsand developing/patching software updates andfixes

What we relooking for / Skills that will help you in therole

  • Hold a BSc or Master sdegree in computer science Engineering or relevantfield.
  • Proven experience in a DevOpsEngineering position or a similarrole.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux andWindowsServers.
  • Experience operating securing andautomating medium/large IT infrastructures based onKubernetes.
  • Significant recent experience ofDocker Kubernetes andHelm.
  • Developing infrastructure throughreusable code with automated tooling and tests (e.g. Terraform andAnsible).
  • Continuous Integration experienceusingGitlab/GitHub.
  • Working knowledge of IT securitytools including FIM IDS/IPS Firewalls andAV.
  • Experience using an ELKstack.
  • Kafka experiencebeneficial.
  • Experience in cyber securitybeneficial (e.g. SIEM penetrationtesting).
  • Experienced with at least oneinterpreted language (e.g. Python JavaScript Rubyetc.).
  • Can use Shell scripting languagesincluding BASH for Linux and Mac platforms and PowerShell forWindowssystems.
  • Ability to use metrics andmonitoring data to ensure performance and reliability (e.g.Prometheus Grafana andPagerDuty).
  • Able to perform duties with abroad latitude for judgement and problemsolving.
  • Good at collaborating withcolleagues to resolve engineering problems andincidents.

Provenexperience in a DevOps Engineering position or a similar role.Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows Servers. Experience operating,securing and automating medium/large IT infrastructures based onKubernetes. Significant recent experience of Docker, Kubernetes andHelm. Developing infrastructure through reusable code withautomated tooling and tests (e.g. Terraform and Ansible).Continuous Integration experience using Gitlab/GitHub. Workingknowledge of IT security tools, including FIM, IDS/IPS, Firewallsand AV. Experience using an ELK stack. Kafka experience beneficial.Experience in cyber security beneficial (e.g. SIEM, penetrationtesting). Experienced with at least one interpreted language (e.g.Python, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.). Education
